Privacy Policy

Short version: Your trade data is private and belongs to you. We don't sell it, and we don't let anyone read it except you. We collect only what's needed to run the product, and we disclose every third party that touches your data below.
Who We Are
Saala Bullish is a trading journal web application built for Indian traders. We are based in India and operate under Indian law. Our contact email is support@saalabullish.com.
What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign up via Supabase Auth (our authentication provider)
- Trade data — trades, journal entries, playbooks, fund management entries, tags, and any other data you enter into the app
- Payment information — processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details. Razorpay provides us only with payment confirmation and your name/email
- Support messages — name, email, and message content if you contact us through a support or feature-request form
- Usage data — basic analytics to understand how the product is used (page views, feature usage). No personally identifiable information is included
- Technical data — browser type, device type, and IP address for security and debugging purposes
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Saala Bullish trade journal service
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your session (via Supabase Auth)
- To process payments and activate your plan (via Razorpay)
- To generate AI-powered insights — AI Coach analyses your trade data (such as risk, setup, mood, and pattern statistics) to produce your weekly, monthly, and deep-dive reviews
- To send transactional emails — account creation, payment confirmation, support replies
- To improve the product based on usage patterns
- To respond to your support requests
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your trade data for any purpose other than displaying it back to you and generating the AI insights described above. Your data is not used to train AI models — ours or any third party's.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the product. Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform its function, and each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles that data:
- Supabase (supabase.com) — authentication, database, and backend infrastructure. Your account and trade data is stored in Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure
- Razorpay (razorpay.com) — payment processing. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant
- Anthropic (anthropic.com) — AI Coach sends the relevant trade statistics needed to generate your review to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models
- Resend (resend.com) — delivery of transactional emails (account, billing, and product emails)
- Zoho Mail (zoho.com) — our support inbox, for replying to emails you send us
- Google (google.com) — our support and feature-request forms use Google Apps Script to relay your message to our support inbox by email
We recommend reviewing each provider's privacy policy if you have concerns about how they individually handle data.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your trade data as a CSV at any time from within the app

Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and/or browser local storage only for authentication and session management via Supabase Auth. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Disabling cookies or local storage in your browser will prevent you from logging in.
Children's Privacy
Saala Bullish is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
